E. McCaskill died monday afternoon at one o'clock at the residence of his daughter Mrs. W. C. Allen on South St. after several days illness from pneumonia. Funeral was held at Mt. Pleasant Church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. S. H. Bennett pastor of Camilla Baptist Church Mr. McCaskill was born in Kershaw County South Carolina and has spent the larger portion of his life in Mitchell, Baker and Decatur Counties. Survivors: wife 5 children, three daughters are Mrs. W.c.Allen, Cammilla, Mrs. James Cook, Camilla; Miss Jessie Mae McCaskell Baker Co. two sons W. K. McCaskell of Camilla and Calvin McCaskill of Baker County, Two sisters Mrs. Lois McGoughan and Mrs. Kenny McKennon of Bethune SC.
