Mr. Everett was born June 4, 1928, in Miller County. He was a retired school teacher and principal for the Miller County School System. He was a member of Colquitt First Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 2, at 2:00 p.m. at Colquitt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Max Parris officiating. Interment followed at Primitive Union Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tommy Wade, Stan Wade, Mike Williams, Calvin Kosmacek, David McKinley, Jon Tucker. Honorary pallbearers were teachers and retired educators of the Miller County School System. Suvivors include one brother, Calvin Everett, Colquitt; three sisters, Mildred Wade, Colquitt, Grace McDonald, Marietta, Rodie Kosmacek, Marietta; and a number of nieces and nephews. Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
