Melvin Ray Lewis Sr.  	 	
LEWIS, Melvin Ray Sr., passed away January 8, 2008, at the age of 70. He was
born in Colquitt, Ga., and moved to Ruskin, Fla., in 1954. He was a lifelong
farmer and a member of Four Square Gospel Church. He was preceded in death by
his wife, Sharon Ann Lewis. Survivors include son, Melvin Ray Jr.; daughters,
Julia Jones, Brenda Brewer and Rebecca Edmonds; sister, Bea Almond; 10
grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday,
January 12, 2008, at Lewers Funeral Home, 308 E. College Ave., Ruskin, Fla.
Services will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2008, at Lewers Funeral
Home, with the Rev. Lloyd Scott officiating.
