  Mildred Louise Lane, age 80, of Colquitt, died Tuesday, August 17, 1999, at her residence.

  Mrs. Lane was born August 29, 1918, in Early County. She was of the Baptist faith and was
  a housewife.

  Graveside services were held on Thursday, August 19, at New Home Free Will Baptist
  Church with the Rev. James Ursrey officiating.

  Survivors include four daughters, Joan Lane Kirkland, Thomasville; Linda Lane and Penny
  Lane, Colquitt; Gail Lane Altman, Thomasville; five sons, Lamar (Sam) Lane and Ronnie Joe
  Lane, Donalsonville; Kenneth Lane, Colquitt; Phillip Lane, Colorado Springs, CO; and Mike
  Lane, Dothan, AL; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

  Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

  (Mrs. Lane was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence C. Lane. She was the
  daughter of the late Seaborn L. and Flora Houston Roberts.)
