C. J. McLendon Obituary
The funeral service of Charlie Joe McLendon, 37, of Moultrie Road, who died
Thursday was conducted this morning at Southside Baptist Church with
interment in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Mr. McLendon, a native of Miller County, had lived in Albany 12 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Faye Poole McLendon; four sons, Tommy Joe
McLendon, James McLendon, Richard McLendon, and Paul Daniel McLendon, a
daughter Christy McLendon all of Albany; mother, Mrs. Rebecca McLendon of
Putney; five brothers, David McLendon of Iron City, Carol McLendon and Melton
McLendon, both of Bainbridge, Hinton McLendon and Binton McLendon, both of
Albany; three sisters, Mrs. Pat Hughes of Leesburg, Mrs. Dorothy Martin and
Mrs. Brenda Wilson, both of Albany.
Hall and Hall Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
****Charlie Joe McLendon was born 13 January 1944 Miller Co., GA and died 31
December 1981. He was the son of Joe Tom McLendon and Rebecca Pauline
"Teany" Loyless McLendon.
