Funeral Notices

Beard -- Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie L. Beard will be held Monday at 2 P . 
M. from the East Highland Assembly of God Church with Rev. James L. Hennesy 
officiating.  Interment will be in Riverdale Cemetery.  Gentlemen serving as 
pallbearers will be C. J. Shirley, J. E. Hagler, B. F. Pugh, W. M. Fulford, 
Lamar Hughes, and Jack B. Crews.  Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Sue 
Bowen and Mrs. Joseph B. Crumbliss, Columbus and Mrs. Leroy Thieroll, Maxee, 
Washington; two sons, Jim F. Beard, Columbus, and Billie Beard, Ft. Lewis, 
Washington; and three sisters, Mrs. J. T. McLendon, Mrs. N. B. Cumbie, Mrs. J. 
H. Evans, and two brothers, J. W. Loyless, and G. W. Loyless, all of 
Bainbridge, GA.

John Tilton Barbree and Minnie Electra Bertie Cloud.  She married John Franklin
