  Ms. Rebecca Sheffield, age 94, of Colquitt died Saturday, June 23, 2001, at Miller Nursing
  Home.
  Ms. Sheffield was born February 7, 1907, in Miller County. She was a homemaker and a
  member of Highway Freewill Baptist Church in Brinson.
  Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 26, at 11:00 a.m. at Colquitt Funeral Home
  Chapel with the Rev. Max Parris officiating. Interment followed in the city cemetery.
  Pallbearers were Jessie Roland, Johnny Roland, Larry Roland, J.E. Roland, Jerry Roland
  and David Bell.
  Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Mathews, Auburndale, FL; one step-daughter,
  Dorothy Barnhill, Brunswick; three step-sons, Glen Sheffield, Colquitt, Charlie Sheffield,
  Harlem, Bud Sheffield, Haralson; one brother Eugene Roland, Griffin; 15 grandchildren, 26
  great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. 
  Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
