Camilla, Georgia. Mr. Charlie Shiver, a well known farmer who lived about five miles east of Sale City in Colquitt County, died Wednesday, 23 Aug 1922, evening about 6:00 PM after a long and tedious illness. Mr. Shiver was about 32 years of age and was a son of the late Will Shiver, who once lived near Camilla, on the Camilla and Newton Road. The deceased leaves a wife and several children and a large family connection who have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement. Funeral services were held at Oakview Cemetery in Camilla Thursday, 24 Aug 1922, afternoon at 3:00 PM.
