Camilla, Georgia. Of sorrowful interest to many friends and relatives in the county was the news of the death of Mrs. Levina Mock, widow of the late J. T. Mock, which occurred at the home near Sale City on Tuesday, 22 Jun 1926, at 6:00 AM after an illness of about ten days. Funeral services were held Wednesday, 23 Jun 1926, afternoon at Mt. Zion church attended by a large number of sorrowing friends and relatives. Services were conducted by Rev H. N. Burnett. Interment was in the family lot in the cemetery beside the church. The deceased was born and reared in this county as Miss Levina Catherine Bussey and was married in early womanhood to Mr. J. T. Mock, who preceded her to the grave about three years ago. Mrs. Mock was in her seventieth year when her long and useful life came to a close. A faithful and loving wife and mother, kindly and influential with friends and neighbors, she served her time well. She had been a member of the Methodist church since early in life. Surviving Mrs. Mock are the following children, Mr. Herbert Mock of Sale City; Mrs. Perry Durham and Mrs. Armand Eubanks of Brinson; Mrs. Albert Faircloth of Sale City; and Mrs. Willie Smith of Pelham. She leaves also one sister, Mrs. Ed Anderson of near Thomasville. Numerous lifetime friends of this good woman feel with the family the sad loss at her death and extend to the bereaved ones a tender and heartfelt sympathy.
