Bereavement came to two Camilla families this week in the death of Mrs. A. L. Burnett, who died at her home in Quitman Monday, 2 Jan 1933, afternoon after an illness of several days. Mrs. Burnett was the sister-in-law of Mrs. C. A. Roles and Miss Maggie Burnett and was also the half-sister of Mrs. P. R. Cleveland, having been a Miss Lasseter and reared at Wigham, before her marriage to Mr. Burnett, who survives her after a union of a number of years. Friends of the entire community are extending sympathy to the saddened families. Going down to Quitman to attend the funeral Tuesday, 3 Jan 1933, afternoon were Mrs. C. A. Roles, Miss Maggie Burnett, Messrs. A. R. Roles and C. L. Roles, Mrs. J. C. Palmer and Jack Palmer and Mr. and Mrs. P. R. Cleveland.
