Camilla, Georgia. Mrs. Julius Palmer, formerly Miss Mary Lizzie Bolton, beloved young woman of Pebble City community, passed away Thursday, 14 Jan 1932, at 8:00 AM at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Bolton, following an illness of only one week from pneumonia. The news of her death has brought sorrow to the hearts of many warm friends in the community where she lived for a long time and to other sections of the county where she was known and loved. Her kind and gentle spirit and influence will be missed by those with whom she has long been associated in the religious affairs of the community and in ministration to the sick and distressed. Funeral services were held Friday, 15 Jan 1932, at 11:00 AM at the Pebble City Methodist church, of which the deceased had long been a faithful member. The services were conducted by the Rev J. M. Rustin of Meigs, assisted by Rev E. B. Sutton of Sale City and Rev H. N. Burnett of Pebble City. Interment was in Akridge Cemetery. At the time of Mrs. Palmer's death her sister, Miss Lorena Bolton, was very ill with pneumonia. News of her sister's death was kept from her until she became better. The deceased is survived by the following: her husband and two children, Julius Eugene, aged three and Nina Dean, aged five; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Bolton, three brothers, Messrs. Eudonnah and George Albert of Pebble City and Mr. Horton Bolton of Florida, and two sisters, Misses Loren and Robbie Bolton, also of Pebble City, besides other close relatives. Mr. Bramlett of the Camilla Hardware and Implement Company was in charge of the funeral.
