Albany, Georgia. Mrs. Camilla Maples Shiver, 54, died at her home at 510 North Jackson Street yesterday, 5 Jan 1948 at 6:00 PM following two months illness. Mrs. Shiver moved to Albany from Camilla about 3 years ago and made many friends who mourn her death. She was a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church of Mitchell County. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Tom R. Reeves of Columbus and Mrs. James R. Hendricks of Camden, New Jersey. and two sons, Frank and Charles R. Shiver of Albany; two sisters, Mrs. John Cook of Pelham and Mrs. H. O. Culpepper of Jacksonville, Florida, and by two brothers -B. B. Maples of Thomasville and J. N. Maples of Leary. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the Albany Undertaking Company at 4:00 PM with the Rev T. H. Wilder in charge. Dr. Leonard Stephens will assist. Interment will be in Crownhill Cemetery. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers and are requested to meet at the Albany Undertaking Company at 3:45 PM Tuesday. Bill Davis, Hugh Yarbrough, Don Bussell, Cull Campbell, Jr. Joe Freeman and W. R. Gurr.
