Camilla, Georgia. Numerous friends here and in other sections of the county were deeply saddened by the death of Mr. E. P. Lastinger, which occurred at the home of his son, Mr. A. P. Lastinger on South Harney Street Wednesday, 8 Apr 1942, at 9:00 PM, following a several days illness. His condition became critical early in the week and his friends shared with his family a mutual anxiety and hope that he might rally. Funeral services have been announced to take place Thursday, 9 Apr 1942, at 5:00 PM, it was learned at noon just before The Enterprise went to press. Mr. Lastinger is survived by three sons, A. C. Lastinger of Albany, A. P. Lastinger and Leland Lastinger of Camilla and three daughters, Mrs. Judson L. Rigsby of Albany, Miss Alda Lastinger of Camilla and Mrs. T. D. Preston of Newton. All these have the warm and sincere sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
