L. "Buddy" White as written in "The Camilla Enterprise" dated 11 Jan 1946. Camilla, Georgia. Buddy White dies her Monday, 7 Jan 1946, night. {note: this obituary did indeed start in the middle of the sentence as follows] ...this section and had many friends known Mitchell County farmer died Monday night at the home of his son, C. O. White, here. He was eighty years old. Funeral services took place Tuesday, 8 Jan 1946, afternoon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church conducted by the Rev S. O. Thomas, retired pastor of the church, in the presence of a large gathering of friends. Interment was in the church cemetery. Mr. White spent his entire life in this section and had many friends who are saddened to learn of his death. he was united in marriage to Miss Borcie Taylor Davidson, who preceded him in death several years ago. Surviving are the following children: Boyd White of Blakely; D. C. White and Mrs. Arrie Harrell of Pelham; Mrs. Emmett Tinsley, Mrs. Edward Dowdy, Mrs. John Dodson, C.O. White and Evans White, all of Camilla. They have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
