Mr. Sornie Hart, member of one of Mitchell County's oldest families, died at his residence in Pelham early this morning (Thursday), 24 Jul 1941, following an illness of many months. Although his death was not unexpected it brought much grief to his many friends and relatives in this section when word reached of his death. Funeral plans had not been arranged when The Enterprise went to press. Mr. Hart is the son of the late Simeon Hart of Camilla. Mrs. Lena Crosby and Mrs. T. J. Luckey of Camilla are sisters and Byron and Dewey Hart of Camilla are his brothers who survive him. His wife and one daughter, Mrs. Joe King of Pelham, also survive him. Others whom the deceased leaves to mourn his death are his mother, Mrs. Georgia Hart, and two sisters, Mrs. M. D. Murphy of Coolidge, and Mrs. Baker Sloan of Pelham.
