Camilla, Georgia. Funeral services for Mrs. Emmett E. Rackley, 60, were held at 2:00 PM Monday, 22 Jan 1957, at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and interment was in the church cemetery. The Rev Sheffield, pastor, assisted by the Rev Charles Duncan, officiated. Bramlett Funeral Home was in charge. Daughter of Morgan Mansfield of Newton, and the late Mrs. Mansfield, Mrs. Rackley was the former Miss Pauline Mansfield. She was born and reared in Mitchell County and was active in church and social circles. She died suddenly Saturday, 20 Jan 1957, night at the Mitchell County Hospital of a heart attack. Besides her husband and father, other survivors include two sons, Earnest Rackley and Jake Rackley of Camilla; two daughters, Mrs. C. R. Booth of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Harry Musgrove of Albany.
