Ty Ty, Ga.---The funeral for Berien Clany Davis, 80, of Ty Ty, a retired farmer, was held Monday, 13 May 1968, at Hopeful Baptist Church in Mitchell County with interment in the church cemetery. Mr. Davis died Saturday, 11 May 1968, in Tift General Hospital. He was born 22 Feb 1888, in Mitchell County, son of the late Clay Davis and Margaret Crossin Davis. A member of the Primitive Baptist Church, he had lived in Tift County for 15 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruth Harmon Davis of Ty Ty; three sons, Joe B. Davis of Doerun and Melvin C. Davis and Rush Davis of Ty Ty; six daughters, Mrs. T. R. Gandy of Pelham, Mrs. Ruby Kennedy of Coolidge, Mrs. Elmer Stuyvesant and Mrs. Eloise Maulden of Ty Ty and Mrs. Dorothy McKellar of Albany.
