The funeral for Ernest Emmett Rackley Jr., 56, who died at his home Thursday 3 April 1969 following an apparent heart attack will be held today, Friday 4 Apr 1969, at 11:00 AM in the Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home Chapel. Rev E. T. Davis Jr. and Rev N. B. Jordan will officiate. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers, Henry J. Rackley, Charlie Booth, John Wayne Jones, Weyman Swilley Jr., Mike Jones, Charles Rush, David Rackley and N. W. Green Jr. Born in Mitchell County 29 Apr 1912, he was a son of the late E. E. and Pauline Mansfield Rackley. He was self-employed in pulpwood. He was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class at the First Baptist Church of Camilla. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucille Jones Rackley of Camilla; his grandmother, Mrs. Morgan Mansfield; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel R. Booth of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. and Mrs. Harry Musgrove of Albany; a number of nieces and nephews.
