Camilla, Georgia. Faircloth Palmer, age 49, died unexpectedly at his home in Tallahassee, Fla., Wednesday afternoon, 22 Jan 1964. A native of Mitchell County, he had lived in Tallahassee since 1936. Funeral services were held Friday, 24 Jan 1964, at 3:00 PM at Mt. Zion Church here in Mitchell County with interment following in M. Zion Cemetery. Bramlett Funeral Home of Camilla had charge of arrangements. An employee of the Florida State Highway Department, Mr. Palmer was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Robert Butler Masonic Lodge in Tallahassee. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maydee Smith Palmer, a son, Van Faircloth Palmer and two daughters, Miss Libby Dee Palmer and Miss Julia Eloise Palmer, all of Tallahassee; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel L. Palmer of Camilla; three brothers, Lloyd Palmer of Bainbridge, Elmo Palmer of Pavo and Dr. Waldo Palmer of Tallahassee; two sisters, Mrs. W. A. Carlisle, Wichita, Kan. and Mrs. Bob Simas of Sacramento, Ca.
