Mrs. Grace Marion Griner Fitzgerald died at the age of seventy around 12:00 PM Wednesday, 29 Dec 1965 at Monroe Memorial Hospital in Ocala, Florida, after an eleven day stay there. Her body was brought back to Camilla where funeral services took place yesterday, 30 Dec 1965 at 2:00 PM at the Bramlett Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Embree Zeigler and Rev Edgar T. Davis jr. officiated and interment followed in Oakview Cemetery. Pallbearers were M. A. Harper, Julian Stoudenmire, Wallace Worsham, Floyd Powe, Donald Griner, Frank McMinn and Harold Griner. Mrs. Fitzgerald was born in Mitchell County on 3 Nov 1895, the daughter of the late John M. and Genova Cooper Griner. She worked for a number of years as a clerk at Modern Cleaners in Camilla. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Two Daughtery, Dorothy and Brice, and a son, E. T. Fitzgerald Jr. all preceded her in death in recent years. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. J. I. Smith of Dunnellon, Fla., six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
