Camilla, Georgia. Funeral services for Mrs. Lila Luckey Palmer, age 100, will be held today, Wednesday, 12 May 1965, at 3:00 PM from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev Jasper Sadler and Rev Fred B. Bullock officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Vaughn Yates, Maitland Yates, Dolphus Palmer, Malcolm Palmer, Gene Palmer, Bernard Palmer, and Theodore Maples. Mrs. Palmer passed away Monday, 10 May 1965, at the Mitchell County Hospital in Camilla. A native of Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Seabron Luckey. Her husband was the late Seabron Palmer. Survivors include five sons, Charlie Palmer of Meigs, Roy L. Palmer of Pelham, Albert P. Palmer, Ben H. Palmer and Julius G. Palmer, all of Camilla; three daughters, Mrs. H. H. Yates of Pelham, Mrs. Irene Maples and Miss Vera Palmer, both of Camilla; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-six great- grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
