Camilla, Georgia. The funeral for Woodrow Wilson Palmer, 54, of Deerfield Beach, Fla. was held Wednesday, 30 Apr 1969 at 3 :00 PM at the Braswell funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Palmer died as a result of an automobile accident 28 Apr 1969. Rev Max Thurman officiated and interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were Al Palmer Jr., Joel Culpepper, Peyton Ott, Kay Williams, Doffice Palmer and Dolphus Gantt. Born in Mitchell County 12 Aug 1914, he was a son of the late William C. and Sarh Ann Williams Palmer of Pelham. He was a farmer. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Bennett F. Shelton Jr. and one grandson, Bennett F. Shelton III of Decatur, Ga.; two brothers, A. C. Palmer of Camilla and Bruce Palmer of Pelham; one sister, Mrs. Marcel Foret of Washington, D. C. Braswell Funeral Home of Pelham was in charge of arrangements.
