Funeral services for Miss Donita Adams, 64 years of age were conducted Sunday, 5 Dec 1975, at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Braswell Funeral Home. Miss Adams passed away on Thursday, 4 Dec 1975, after several months illness at the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida. The Rev Joe Jenkins officiated with interment in the Pelham Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Anthony Morrell, Herman Hampton, Hal Marshall, John Butler, Thermon Butler and David Butler. Miss Adams was born in Cotton, Ga. on 13 Nov 1911. She was a daughter of the late H. J. Adams and Minnie C. Chason Adams. She was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church and a saleslady for Scott and Marshall Grocery. Survivors include one brother, Webster Devon Adams of Ocala, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. E.C. Jester of Bainbridge, Mrs. E. D. Bostick of Camilla and Mrs. Doyle Rentz of Moultrie. Braswell Funeral Home in Pelham was in charge of funeral arrangements.
