Obituary of Aline Phelps Eubanks 
as written in "The Camilla Enterprise" dated 16 Jul 1975.  


Camilla, Georgia.  
Funeral services for Mrs. Aline Phelps Eubanks, 86 years of age, who passed away
Thursday, Jul 10, 1975 at her home after a lengthy illness was conducted Saturday, 
July 12, 1975 at eleven o'clock from the Antioch United Methodist Church.  The Rev. 
William McCord and Mrs. Freddrick Whitson officiating with interment in the Sale City 
Cemetery.  Grandsons serving as pallbearers were Woody Eubanks, Ivey Griner, Charles 
Griner, Grover Reeves, Wayne Eubanks, Roy Reeves and Dan Eubanks.  Mrs. Eubanks was 
born in Mitchell County on November 9, 1888.  She was the daughter of the late William 
M. Phelps and Mary Frances Adams Phelps.  Her husband was the late James Ivey Eubanks, Sr.  
She was a member of the Antioch United Methodist Church.  Survivors are three sons, 
J. I. Eubanks, Jr. of Camilla; Lorenzo Eubanks of Tifton; and Ralph Eubanks of Sale City; 
three daughters, Mrs. Clarice Turk of Sale City; Mrs. Mary Anna Griner of Camilla and 
Mrs. Edna Reeves of Moultrie; eighteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.  
Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements..
