Mrs. J. D. Bostick Passes After Lengthy Illness - Mrs. J. D. Bostick of Route 2, Camilla passed away April 19, 1974 in Bainbridge Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held April 21, 1974 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Earl Childs, Rev. Richard Davis and Rev. Tommy Long officiating. Active pallbearers were gransons and nephews of the deceased. Interment was in Union Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Mitchell County. Mrs. Bostick was born October 2, 1884 in Mitchell County. She was a member of Union Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors are a son, Mr. Joe Bostick of Camilla, Ga.; fice daughters: Mrs. Carl Sullivan of Camilla, Mrs. Henry Sullivan of Bainbridge, Mrs. Harvey Whittle of Albany, Mrs. Marvin Grubbs of Cairo and Mrs. Homer Kallsen of Miami, Fla.; one brother, Mr. J. B. Crosson of Lakeland, Fla.; two sisters: Mrs. Clifford Cork of Marathon, Fla. and Mrs. Cary Powell of Pelham, Ga.; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
