Camilla, Georgia. The funeral for Mrs. Clyde Ragan Morgan, 77, of Pelham, who died Saturday, 17 Jan 1970 at Mitchell County Hospital, after a lengthy illness, was held Monday, 19 Jan 1970 at 11:00 AM at the Pelham First Baptist Church. Interment was in the Meigs Cemetery with Rev H. William Perry officiating. Pallbearers were Charlie Belk, James Bowen, Morris Kolbie, Roy Smith, Jimmy Summerford and John Collins Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Clifford Akridge, Albert Crosby, Roy Whiddon, J. L. Bowen, Edward Bowen, John Collins Sr., J. L. Joiner Sr. Lee Joiner, Max Akridge, Don Akridge and Emory Giles. A native of Sasser, she was a retired saleslady. She was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Nannie E. Bowen Ragan. She was a member of the Pelham First Baptist Church. Survivors include two nephews, Theodore R. Stevens of Bristol, Tenn. and William C. Stevens of Johnson City, Tenn.; two nieces, Mrs. Geraldine S. Brimberry of Albany and Mrs. Morton M. Crumley of Danville, Va. Braswell Funeral Home of Pelham was in charge of arrangements.
