Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Shiver Jones, 85, who died Saturday, 24 Aug 1974, at her home, Route 4, Camilla, after a lengthy illness, were held Monday, 26 Aug 1974 at 3:00 P. M. from the Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. W. F. Dyches officiated. Interment was in Oakview Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Collins Jr., Marcus Collins, Ralph Collins, Bennie Harrison, Eugene (Bo) Curles and Hayward Snipes. Mrs. Jones was born in Mitchell County, 15 Mar 1889. Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Gus Shiver. She was a member of Lake Pleasant Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, James A. Jones of Camilla; one half-sister, Mrs. Allison Hurst of Camilla; three grandsons, Lynwood and Darryl Jones of Orlando and Bobby Jones of Camilla. Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
