Camilla, Georgia. Funeral services for Mrs. Marie C. Glenn, 57, Rt. 2, Pelham, who died unexpectedly Friday 16 Jan 1970, at Archbold Memorial Hospital at Thomasville, after a brief illness, were held Sunday, 18 Jan 1970 at 2:30 PM at Macedonia Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev Roger Bass, Rev Howard Kelly and Rev A. J. Cooke officiated. Pallbearers were Donald Cooper, Ira Godwin, Clinton Cooper, George Harvey, Fred Bentley, Henry Pope, John Harvey and Casper Sellers. A native of Florida, she was a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Alice Monroe Cupper. She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, W. Robert Glenn of Pelham; four daughters, Mrs. Clark R. Maxwell of Atlanta, Mrs. William F. Oliver Jr. of Cairo, and Misses Mariella and Harriett Glenn, both of Pelham; two brothers, Tom M. Cupper and Harry Cupper, both of Beaumont, Tx.; two sisters, Mrs. B. Hart and Mrs. Woodrow Brockman, both of Quincy, Fla.; and four grandchildren. Braswell Funeral Home of Pelham was in charge of arrangements.
