Obituary of Maude Culbreth Griner 
as written in "The Albany Herald" dated 13 Jan 1978.  

Albany, Georgia.  Sylvester, Ga.---The funeral service of Mrs. Maude 
Culbreth Griner, 91, who died today, 13 Jan 1978, will be conducted Sunday, 15 Jan 
1978, at 3:00 PM in the Banks Funeral Home Chapel at Sylvester.  Interment will follow 
in the Cool Springs Cemetery, Mitchell County.  She was a native of Colquitt County and 
had lived in Worth County most of her life.  She was a charter of the Bridgeboro Baptist 
Church.  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Warren of Sylvester, Mrs. Edith 
Lake of Orlando, Fla.; three sons, James M. Griner and S. B. Griner of Albany, Judson H. 
Griner of Sylvester; two sisters, Miss Effie Culbreth and Mrs. Ada Claude Phillips of 
Orlando, Fla.; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
