Camilla, Georgia. Funeral services for Mr. Orr Adams, 66 years of age, Joy Street, Camilla, who passed away early Monday, Nov. 10, 1975 at the VA Hospital in Lake City, Fla., was conducted Tuesday, Nov 11, 1975 from the chapel of Parker Bramlett Funeral Home. The Rev. E. T. Davis officiated with interment in the Oak View Cemetery. Mr. Adams was born August 15, 1909, a native of Mitchell County. He was a farm manager, a veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion, veteran of Foreign Wars and a member of the First Baptist Church of Camilla. He was the son of the late D. W. Adams and Minnie Shirah Adams. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Iva Jones Adams of Camilla; one son, Rev. James Orr Adams of Edinburgh, Texas; four daughters, Mrs. Betty Martin of Moultrie, Mrs. Louise Simmons of Bainbridge, Mrs. Ann Danders of Hialeah, Fla. and Mrs. Gloria Pate of Dothan, Ala. Also sixteen grandchildren survive. Parker Bramlett Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
