Albany, Georgia. S. B. Luckey, 56, 4911 Van Cise Lane, died Wednesday afternoon in Crisp County Hospital, Cordele. He had been a resident of Albany for the past 34 years and was a salesman for Flint Beverage Company. Mr. Luckey was born 27 Mar 1916, in Mitchell County, and was the son of the late Thomas J. and Ether Leigh Luckey. He was a member for the First Baptist Church, Albany Lodge 713, B. P. O. E., and Woodman of the World. Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Edna Bennett of Albany, three sons, Donald Luckey of Albany, Sam Luckey of the Canal Zone, Republic of Panama, Robert Luckey of Paris Island, S. C.; four daughters, Mrs. Charlie (Therlus) Hancock, Mrs. Barry (Barbara) Cohen, and Miss Leigh Luckey all of Albany; and Mrs. John (Cecile) Newsome of Moultrie; a brother, Otis Luckey of Moultrie; three sisters, Mrs. Ivan Loomis of Leesburg, Fla., Mrs. J. O. Willis of Moultrie and Mrs. Buck Cribbs of Winter Haven, Fla. The funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 4:00 PM at Kimbrell-Stern Chapel by the Rev Perry F. Webb Jr., pastor of First Baptist church. Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
