Funeral services will be held this morning, Friday 19 Dec 1975, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla for Samuel Edward Crosby, age sixty-three, who died at his home late Tuesday, 16 Dec 1975, Rev Gene Roach, pastor of Southside Baptist Church in Camilla and Rev David Pickard, pastor of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church will officiate at the services and interment will take place in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mr. Crosby was the son of the late Warner Crosby and the late Mary Shirah Crosby. A native of Mitchell County, Mr. Crosby was a retired farmer. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sarah Dekle Crosby of Camilla; two sons, Warner Crosby of Columbus and S. E. Crosby Jr. of Camilla; two daughters, Mrs. Christine Hanna of Albany, N. Y. and Mrs. Mary Frances Crosby of Baconton; three sisters, Mrs. Effie Wisham, Mrs. John L. Batterson and Mrs. Jessie Holton, all of Camilla and nine grandchildren.
