Funeral services for Mr. Timothy Barnes, 86, of Sale City, who died Friday, 16 Mar 1973, were held Sunday, 18 Mar 1973 at Henderson Funeral Home in Moultrie with interment in the Cool Springs Church near Doerun. The Rev W. J. Brown officiated and active pallbearers were John L. Tucker, Ronnie Plazeman, Richard Hortman, Harold Green, John B. Tucker and Roger East. A native of Taylor County and a retired farmer, he was married to the late Emmousia Joines Barnes. Survivors include four sons, the Rev Quinton Barnes of Norman Park, Byard Barnes of Camilla, two daughters, Mrs. Fred Plazeman and Mrs. Harold Green both of Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Naomi Baisden of Albany and several grandchildren.
