Camilla, Georgia. Funeral services for Mrs. Vivian Rackley Brooks, 91, of Warner Robins and formerly of Pelham, who died January 31, 1975 after and extended illness in Palatka, Fla. was conducted Sunday February 2, 1975 at 3:30 P. M. from the chapel of Braswell Funeral home. The Rev. Harrell Moore officiated with interment in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Tony Mangual, Rob Miller, Joe Glenn, Tim Williams, Randy Carr and Theron Rackley. Mrs. Brooks was born in Mitchell County, February 18, 1883. She was the daughter of the late Cornelia and Mary Lofley Rackley. She was a member of the Pebble City Baptist Church and her husband was the late John A. Brooks who died November 2, 1935. Survivors are one son, Frank Brooks of Pelham, two daughters, Mrs. Eloise B. Stephens of Warner Robins, Mrs. Hilda J.Mayhan of Palatka, Fla., one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Brightwell of Ocala, Fla. Also 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren survive. Braswell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
