Camilla, Georgia. Services for Mrs. Wyolene Hartley Palmer, 88, who died Wednesday, 11 Jul 1979, at the Mitchell Convalescent Center, were held Thursday, 12 Jul 1979, at 4:00 PM at the Camilla United Methodist Church with Dr. McCoy Johnson and Rev Edgar T. Davis officiating. Interment was in the Oakview Cemetery. A retired school teacher, who was born 28 Apr 1891 in Peach County. She was the daughter of the late J. F. Hartley and Ellen Vinson Hartley. Her husband was the late Daniel Palmer Sr. She was a member of the Camilla United Methodist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lucille Bostick of Camilla, Mrs. Ellen Taylor of Albany and Mrs. Wyolene Bivins of Moultrie; three sons, Hartley Palmer of Camilla, Joe Palmer of Camilla, and Dan Palmer Jr. of Camilla; five sisters, Mrs. T. E. McMinn and Mrs. Randolph Holton of Camilla, Mrs. E. H. Ijams of Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Otis Ogburn of Reynolds and Mrs. J. F. Reid of Daytona Beach, Fla.; 18 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Arrangements were handled by the Parker Funeral Home.
