The funeral service of Mrs. W. J. Fowler, 61, of 1905 Highland Avenue, who died Sunday, 28 Jan 1979, will be conducted Tuesday, 30 Jan 1979, at 2:00 PM at Kimbrell-Stern. interment will follow in Floral Memory Garden. Mrs. Fowler, the former Miss Willene Williams of Colquitt County, had lived in Albany 42 years. She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was employed by the Brunswick Corporation here as a spray painter. Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Betty Ann Trowbridge of Hartsfield and Mrs. Joyce Sledge of Ty Ty; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Ford, Mrs. Maedell Joy, Mrs. Athalone Hartman, Mrs. Louise McDaniel and Mrs. Ruby Southwell all of Albany; a brother, William Williams of Apopka, Fla., and nine grandchildren.
