Obituary of Eva Jones Joiner 
as written in "The Camilla Enterprise" dated 1 Mar 1989.  

Eva Jones Joiner, 83, of Camilla, died Tuesday 24 Jan 1989 at Palmyra Park 
Hospital in Albany.  Funeral services were held on Thursday, 26 Jan 1989, in the Parker 
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Charles Harper officiating.  Burial was in the 
Branchville Cemetery.  she was born 20 Dec 1905, in Mitchell County, daughter of Oscar 
and Mattie Palmer Jones.  Her husband was Charlie Lee Joiner.  She was a retired school 
teacher.  She was a member of the Branchville United Methodist Church.  Survivors 
include three sisters, Grace Rogers of Newton, Martha Klein and Elizabeth Howell of 
Albany; and several nieces and nephews.  Pall bearers were her great nephews, Phillip 
Joiner, Richard Joiner, Gene Joiner, Mike Smith, Tod Rogers and Ronnie Jones.
