The funeral services for Eva Pearl Mansfield, 80, who died 24 Apr 1989 at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany were held Wednesday, 26 Apr 1989 at 3:00 PM in the Braswell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Dave Hailey officiating. Burial was in the Pelham Cemetery. The daughter of the late Miles and Melvinia Shirah Mansfield, she was a member of Pelham First Baptist Church and was a veteran of World War II. She was also a retired home economist and dietician. She is survived by four sisters, Essie Laura Henry of Pelham; Verna Mosteller of Anderson, SC; Evelyn Johnson of Leesburg; and Sara Hall of Newton. A number of nieces and nephews survive. Active pallbearers were Joe Farris, James S. Allen, George Bishop, Paul Davison, Brian Wetherald and W.F. Griffin. Braswell Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
