Helen Sarah Hall, 68, of Newton died Friday morning, 28 Jul 1989, at her residence in Newton. Funeral services were held Monday, 31 Jul 1989, at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Newton with the Rev Lester Turley and the Rev L. A. Joiner officiating. Burial was held in Newton City Cemetery. Mrs. Hall was born 17 Feb 1921, in Franklin County, Georgia, the daughter of Wayne C. Hall and Elise Harber. She lived in Newton a number of years. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Newton First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, C. Edwin Hall of Newton; Chuck Hall Jr. of Pasadena, Cal.; a brother, Harber Hall of Stone Mountain, Ga; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jimmy Rhodes, Hall Goode, Kenneth Goode, James Goode, John Simmons, Kenneth Hall, Duane Hall and Lanier Jordan. Parker Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
