Obituary of Isaac Lester Palmer 
as written in "The Camilla Enterprise" dated 2 Nov 1988.  

Camilla, Georgia.  
Isaac Lester Palmer, 89, of Pelham, died 30 Oct 1988 at 
Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, Georgia.  Services were held Tuesday, 1 Nov 1988 at 
3:00 PM at the Mispah Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Hushel Walker officiating, 
assisted by Elder Max Childs. Burial was in the Mispah Cemetery.  Palmer, born 26 June 
1899, in Grady County, was the son of the late Elijah and Georgia McClelland Palmer.  A 
retired farmer, he was a member of New Hope Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors are 
his wife Thelma Palmer of Pelham; two sons, K.D. Palmer Sr. and Gary Palmer of 
Pelham; one daughter, Mrs. Donnie "Zelma" Williams of Pelham, one brother, A. Mitt 
Palmer of Pelham; one sister, Dollie Wiggins of Pelham; nine grandchildren; and 12 
great-grandchildren.  Active pallbearers were grandsons and Edsel Palmer.  Braswell 
Funeral Home of Pelham had charge of arrangements.
