Camilla, Georgia. Funeral services for Mr. John Edgar Wisham Sr., 76 years of age of Camilla, will be conducted today, Wednesday, Jul 22, 1981 at three o'clock from the Fathers Home Freewill Baptist Church. Rev. Ralph Giles and Rev. William Weeks will officiate with interment in the church cemetery. Mr. Wisham passed away early Monday morning, July 20, 1981. He was a native of Colquitt County, born Jan 3, 1905, son of the late George Washington Wisham and Jennie Jarrell Wisham. He was a farmer and a member of the Fathers Home Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Effie Crosby Wisham of Camilla; five daughters, Mrs. Willie Mae Hinely, Mrs. Bernice Blewitt and Mrs. Christine Edwards all of Camilla; Mrs. Louise Bailey of Amarilla, Texas and Mrs. Pauline Harrell of Cairo; three sons, Junior Wisham, Woodrow Wisham and Paul Wisham all of Camilla; two sisters, Mrs. Claude Batchelor and Mrs. O. S. Batchelor both of Camilla; three brothers, Simmie D. Wisham of Tampa, Fla., William H. Wisham of Gainesville, Fla., and Jessie Wisham of Bainbridge. Also surviving are twenty-one grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. Serving as active and honorary pallbearers will be grandsons. Parker Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
