Obituary of Jesse I. Luckey 
as written in "The Fort Myers News-Press" dated 4 Jun 1985.  

Fort Myers, Florida.  Jesse I. Luckey, 80, of Fort Myers died Sunday at his 
residence.  Mr. Luckey was born in Alva and has lived here for the past 50 years.  
Survivors include his wife, Dora Luckey of Fort Myers; one son, Richard Golden of 
Naples; two daughters, Billie Hires of Fort Myers and Margaret Georgeadis of Pismo 
Beach, Calif; one brother, Oby Luckey of Fort Myers; two sisters, Susie Irene Luckey of 
Fort Myers and Eloise Gaylord of Fort Myers, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-great-
grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held Wed. at 2:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral 
Home, conducted by Rev. Walter J. Hickman of Grace Bible church.  Burial will be in 
Fort Myers Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Todd Johnson, Owen Luckey, Jr., Jim Giles, 
Lance Golden, Lewis Golden and Larry Luckey.  The family will receive friends today 
from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral home.
