Obituary of Vera Palmer 
as written in "The Camilla Enterprise" dated 21 Oct 1981.  

Camilla, Georgia.  
Funeral services for Miss Vera Palmer, 80, of Camilla were held Friday, Oct. 16, 1981 at 
3:00 P. M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev Al Davis officiating.  Interment was in the 
church cemetery.  Miss Palmer died Thursday, 15 Oct 1981, morning in Pelham Parkway Nursing 
Home.  Born Jan. 28, 1901 in Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Seaborn E. 
and Lila Luckey Palmer. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  Survivors include 
two brothers, Ben Hill Palmer and Julius Palmer, both of Camilla and a number of nieces and 
nephews.  Parker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
