Camilla, Georgia. Funeral services for William Harry Adams, 69, of Pelham, were held Oct 11, 1981 at Braswell Funeral Home's chapel with interment in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Mr. Adams died Friday, Oct 9, 1981 at Mitchell County Hospital. Born in Grady County, he was a member of Pelham First Baptist Church, a member of The American Legion, and a veteran of World War II. He was a retired bottler for Pelham Coca Cola Co. His parents were the late W. W. and Ophelia Boutwell Adams. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willodene Palmer Adams of Pelham; one brother, Leroy Adams of Lake City, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Alpha A. Piland of Tallahassee, Fla. and Mrs. Sarah Jean Capps of Petersburg, Va. and a number of nieces and nephews. Braswell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
