Albany, Georgia. Billy Joe Shiver, 63, of Bethlehem, Ga. died Sunday at Walton Medical Center in Monroe, Ga. The funeral will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, 28 Mar 1996, at Mathews Oaklawn Chapel Funeral Home. The Rev Vaughn Cornell will officiate. A native of Pelham, Mr. Shiver lived in Panama City, Fla, before moving to Bethlehem a year ago. He was a retired district manager with Metropolitan Insurance Company, Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, a Mason and a member of Hadgi Shrine Temple and the Elks Lodge NO. 1598. He was a Methodist. Survivors include three sons, Green Smith Shiver of Panama City, Francis Wayne Shiver of Amelia, Va. and Jerry Ernest Shiver of Belgium, Wisc.; a daughter, Jennifer Faith Shiver Munro of Wichita, Kan.; two brothers, Moe Shiver of Albany, and Ernest Alvin shiver of Meigs; three sisters, Jeannette Clark and Geraldine Shiver of Albany and Mary Donna Hancock of Hogansville; and 10 grandchildren.
