Obituary of Emory Cecil Palmer Jr. 
as written in "The Albany Herald" dated 7 Sep 1996.  

Albany, Georgia.  
Elberton, Ga.>>>Emory Cecil Palmer Jr., 56, of Elberton, 
formerly of Albany, died Wednesday, 4 Sep 1996, at Elbert Memorial Hospital.  The 
funeral will be at 11:00 AM Monday, 9 Sep 1996, in Forest Hills Memorial Park 
Cemetery.  Dr. Jack Jackson will officiate.  A native of Camilla, Mr. Palmer was parts 
manager of Welborn Automotive in Elberton and was a veteran of the Marine Corps.  He 
was a member of Elberton First Baptist Church.  Survivors include his mother, Myrtis 
Worsham Palmer of Augusta, Ga.; three daughters, Debbie Garcia and Amanda Palmer 
of Augusta, and Melissa Palmer of Florida; and two grandchildren.  Hicks Funeral Home 
is in charge of arrangements.
