Obituary of Irma Fouche Oliver 
as written in "The Valdosta Daily Times" dated 31 July 1997.  

Valdosta, Georgia.  
Irma Fouche Oliver, 96, died Tuesday, July 29, 1997, at 
her residence in Blairsville, GA.  Mrs. Oliverr was born Mar 1, 1901, in Lee County to 
the late Barney Fouche and Allie Marshall Fouche. She was a resident of Valdosta for 70 
years. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church.  Survivors include a 
son, Robert F. Oliver of Blairsville; a granddaughter, Melody Oliver of Lawrenceville; 
and a sister, Eleanor Blackwell of Albany.  Mrs. Oliver was preceeded in death by her 
husband, Thomas Wallace Oliver.  Funeral will be 31 July 1997 at 11:00 AM at Sunset 
Hill Cemetery in Valdosta, GA.
