Obituary of Irma Luckey Hudgins 
as written in "The Albany Herald" dated 27 December 1996.  

Irma Luckey Hudgins, 95, of Pelham died Tuesday at Pelham Parkway 
Nursing Home.  The funeral will be at 2 P.M. Thursday at Braswell Funeral Home with 
burial in Pelham Cemetery.  The Rev. Dr. Hal Hunter will officiate.  A native of Mitchell 
County. Mrs. Hudgins was a retired teller/secretarty with Hand Trading Co. for 52 years. 
She was the widow of Jesse Mercer "Chief" Hudgins.  Survivors include a son, William 
Hammond Braswell of Pelham;  three grandchildren and a great grandchildren.
