Camilla, Georgia. Ernestine Olivia Powell Mickler, 74, of Pelham, died Monday 7 Jan 1991 in Sandy Springs. Funeral services will be held Friday, 11 Jan at 2:00 PM at Saint John Vianney Catholic Church in Camilla. The Father Edward Frank will officiate and The Father Richard Marrow will assist. Burial will be in the Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Born 18 Nov 1916, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Chandler Palmer Powell. She was married to the late Arnold P. Mickler. She was a homemaker, member of Chickasaw Bridge Club and a member of Saint John Vianney Catholic Church. Survivors include two daughters, Frances Mickler May of Cowpens, S. C. and Carol Mickler Wood of Sandy Springs; two sons, Patrick Mickler of New York City and Thomas Mickler of Kalamazoo, Mich.; one sister, Alma Pacetti of Pelham and nine grandchildren, Donna May, Carol May, Leslie May, Katie May, Bryce Mickler, Justin Mickler, Livy Mickler, Megan Wood and Ryan Wood. Honorary pall bearers will be Spencer Walker, D. C. Musgrove, Maston Howze, Harry Ward, Valmore Ward, Ferris Ward and Fredrick Ward. Active pall bearers will be Hal Akridge, Curtis Campbell, James Ross Mickler, Albert Turner, Ronnie Sands and Joseph Sands. Braswell Funeral Home of Pelham was in charge of arrangements.
