Obituary of Susie Bennett Shiver 
as written in "The Albany Herald" dated 16 Nov 1999.  

Albany, Georgia.  
Susie B. Shiver, 90, of Camilla, died Sunday at Pelham 
Parkway Nursing Home.  The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parker-Bramlett 
Funeral Home with burial in Cool Springs Cemetery.  Born 8 Sep 1909, she was the 
daughter of the late Neon and Kosciusko Walters Bennett. A native of Colquitt County, 
Mrs. Shiver was a homemaker and a member of Camilla Church of Christ. She was the 
widow of Joel Henry Shiver. Survivors include her daughter, Geraldine Lamb of 
Donalsonville; five sons, Noel Shiver of Moultrie, Billy Shiver of Kissimmee, Fla., 
Johnny Shiver of Albany and Clyde Shiver and Donald Shiver, both of Camilla; a sister, 
Mildred McClure of Doerun; and 21 grandchildren, 24 great- grandchildren and two reat, 
great, grandchildren.  Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
